Scottish Bog Myrtle Organic Hand Cream 70ml

A rich, silky hand cream made with real bog myrtle essential oil.

Bog myrtle leaf oil is traditionally valued for its soothing and skin-supporting properties, and is often associated with sensitive, dry or problem-prone skin. In this deeply nourishing hand cream, it is blended with organic shea and cocoa butters, olive oil, linseed oil, aloe vera, chamomile, lavender, nettle and lemon balm extracts to help soften, calm and protect hardworking or ageing hands.

We believe we are the only soap maker in the UK using true bog myrtle, Myrica gale, essential oil rather than an artificial fragrance or Myrtus communis, also known as common myrtle. Common myrtle is a shrub grown in Southern Europe and is quite distinct from the bog myrtle found in the Scottish countryside, where it has been used for centuries by Scots herbalists to care for the skin.

Lightly scented with natural plant extracts and essential oils, this rich yet absorbent cream leaves hands feeling soft, smooth and replenished.

Made with over 86% organic ingredients and presented in a recyclable aluminium tube with a cardboard outer box.
