Join our botanically-inspired soap-making workshop to create your own bespoke fragranced soaps with essential oils and organic ingredients.
Learn how to hand-make soaps in the small-batch way we practice at The Highland Soap Company and leave with confidence in your ability to master the art of soap making - and with the products you made yourself!
Itinerary (2hrs approximately):
- An hour soap-making workshop. Choose your favourite fragrances, colours and botanicals
- A coffee in our Larder Café while your soaps are setting
- Package up your soaps ready to take home to keep for yourself or give as a handmade gift
16+ or 8+ when accompanied by a paying adult. Max 4 people per workshop. Dates are added approximately 4-6 weeks in advance.
All timings are approximate depending on how many are booked on to the workshop and setting times for soap.

To avoid disappointment, please pre-book for a class, we cannot guarantee that we can run a class if you turn up on the day. We hold the workshops around the production times, as we are a working factory.

We visited the Highland Soap Company whilst on holiday on Tuesday 10th Feb.
We had a fantastic time with the knowledgeable, engaging and effervescent Teeny, who guided us expertly through the whole process.
Made and packaged some lovely individualised soaps.
Excellent value for money and a lovely place to visit. If we weren’t constrained by luggage weight, we could easily have bought lots of lovely items from the shop.
Decided to have lunch there as well…great service coupled with a wide menu selection.

The Soap Making Workshop was well organised. There were 4 of us on the course which was a nice friendly size. The process was very well explained with a good sense of humour and very entertaining. We left with 3 bars of soap of our own essence selection and colour. A cup of coffee was a welcome break while the soap set.
Wow, I had so much fun at this soap making workshop. Teeny is the sweetest, most enthusiastic, and knowledgeable instructor. It was such a delight being taught by her. I now have so many beautiful soaps, all thanks to her patient and kind instruction. Would do this over and over again if I lived in this area! Highly recommend.
We had a fantastic time under Teeny’s patient encouragement and support- even when I managed to drop the scent pipette into the soap mixture. The time just flew past and we enjoyed the delights of the Larder Cafe and shop as we waited for the soaps to set. A fabulous morning in a wonderful setting. Thanks Teeny!
