Key Ingredient Seaweed
Ascophyllum nodosum (Seaweed) extract - Seaweed has been used for centuries for its natural healing and skin nourishing properties; it is reputed to be beneficial in the treatment of eczema and psoriasis. The antioxidant properties in seaweed are also reputed to help minimise the effects of ageing on the skin. Ascophyllum nodosum (knotted wrack) is one of the easiest seaweeds to identify floating with air-filled "poppers" close to rocks in the Outer Hebrides as the tide goes out. Extracts are rich in essential vitamins and antioxidants for your skin. Our kelp extract is (of course) made from Scottish seaweed.
