Cold-pressed from the seed kernel of the mango fruit, this highly prized butter is used as a base ingredient in our body care creams and soap. It is very similar in colour and texture to cocoa butter and melts on skin contact to naturally moisturise and soften very dry skin. A wonderful emollient, it adds a rich creamy feel to lotions and creams. Its similarities with cocoa butter help to stabilise emulsions as well as having good moisturising and regenerative properties. It contains natural Vitamin E and has also been reported to have a protective effect against UV radiation.
