Soap Making Workshop

My daughter had been asking for some time to do the soap making workshop. It was everything she hoped it would be.
Teeny was our instructor and was excellent at explaining things and making sure everyone was invested in their own decision making.

The array of scents, oils and colours was fantastic. It was so exciting getting to smell all the different ones and work out what we wanted.

We each took turns with our jug of liquid soap and added our scents, oils and colours.

Then poured them into our moulds we had already chosen. We had already added our chosen extras. My daughter added oats and marigold flowers to her chosen pumpkin shapes and I had added dried heather and rose petals to my assortment of bees and shaped moulds.

We then went to the cafe for a well-deserved cuppa while our soaps set.

A short time later we were able to remove them from the moulds and package them.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience which I would highly recommend to others.

My thanks to Teeny for such a wonderful morning and excellent craic.

Great creative workshop to take!

It was a lot of fun to make soap under the guidance of a wonderful instructor. We got to learn the man in which soap can be made what you can add to it and have fun creating our own.
