Join our botanically-inspired soap-making workshop to create your own bespoke fragranced soaps with essential oils and organic ingredients.
Learn how to hand-make soaps in the small-batch way we practice at The Highland Soap Company and leave with confidence in your ability to master the art of soap making - and with the products you made yourself!
Itinerary (2hrs approximately):
- An hour soap-making workshop. Choose your favourite fragrances, colours and botanicals
- A coffee in our Larder Café while your soaps are setting
- Package up your soaps ready to take home to keep for yourself or give as a handmade gift
16+ or 8+ when accompanied by a paying adult. Max 4 people per workshop. Dates are added approximately 4-6 weeks in advance.
All timings are approximate depending on how many are booked on to the workshop and setting times for soap.

To avoid disappointment, please pre-book for a class, we cannot guarantee that we can run a class if you turn up on the day. We hold the workshops around the production times, as we are a working factory.
My wife and I had a fantastic time making soap today at the Highland Soap Company.
It was a group of four of us and our instructor, Teeny was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, helpful and overall a fun person to work with.
We had a lovely coffee in the coffee shop whilst we were waiting for the soap to set, and then returned to remove our soaps from the modes and package them.
After the soap making, we went back to the cafe for some amazing cake for lunch.
Overall, we had a fantastic day, and I am very pleased with my soaps and we cannot wait to come back and do it again someday.

We had such a lovely morning making soaps with Teeny! She was absolutely fantastic—warm, enthusiastic, and guided us clearly through every step of the process. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish.
As always, the coffee and cake while we waited for our soaps to cool were a perfect touch. Such a thoughtful and welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely go back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and creative experience!
