    Made with bog myrtle essential oils collected by hand and distilled at The Highland Soap Company's workshop in a beautiful copper still.

    We believe we are the only soap maker in the UK to be using real bog myrtle essential oils rather than an artificial fragrance. Unable to buy the bog myrtle essential oils we needed for one of our most popular ranges, we started to distil our own. It takes an hour to produce a few millilitres and making this wonder-soap is a labour of love. Scottish herbalists have long valued the wonderful antibacterial properties of bog myrtle leaves (sometimes referred to as Scotland's Tea Tree). The plant thrives in Scottish Highland peat bogs, alongside rivers and on the edge of our lochs.

    Bog myrtle essential oil is also reputed to be extremely useful for sensitive skin and acne, as well as helping to delay skin-ageing. We have been told that people use our bog myrtle range to treat their psoriasis and other skin conditions. This moisturising soap has a lovely fresh herbal, lemony scent and is also used to protect against midges.

    Naturally fragranced with plant extracts and essential oils. Made with skin-loving glycerine from certified Organic vegetable oils. 150g

    Best soap!

    Last year my son and I travelled to Scotland. We stopped at this store and he loved the scent of the whiskey & honey we purchased him some. By Christmas his soap was gone and he wanted more as he loved it. I ordered to Canada, paying duty, paying shipping, and in that order I just added one bar of the bog myrtle for myself. After trying this soap I had to order more. I use it actually only as face wash and my skin is never dry, not like other bar soaps at all! I love this soap and I will always purchase it. Any dry skin bothering me I use this soap a couple of times, no dry skin. Thank you for making a great product!

    Natural with a nice Smell

    I bought this for my stepdaughter who suffers with acne, she says it feels nice on her skin and because it's all natural she is confident to use it. Too early to say if it helps her acne but it has raised her confidence. Thank you.

    Long lasting

    Bought this as an environmentally friendly option rather than soap in a plastic bottle. I use it in a loofah bag. No mess and lasts for ages. Great smell too.
