    Experience a classic shave with our handmade men’s shaving soap. Our shaving soap is handmade with a base of skin-nourishing emollient oils for a creamy lather and smooth shave.

    A Whisky & Honey fragranced shaving soap in a weighty glass jar with an embossed aluminium screw-cap lid that can take a year to use up.

    This shave soap has a luxurious scent, reminiscent of the finest oak-aged single malt with notes of heather honey and skin-conditioning barley.

    Used with warm water and a shaving brush, this traditional hard soap will produce a creamy lather.

    The natural oils used in this traditionally handmade shaving soap have been carefully chosen for their superior moisturising qualities. The combination of Olive Oil, Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter produce a creamy skin-soothing low lather, not a long-lasting frothy foam.

    Shave your beard with Scottish scent

    the scent you get when you open the jar is fantastic if you like whiskey and honey!

    Smells great but a lack of lather lets it down

    So this is vegetarian soap (it does have honey so not vegan) which I was keen to try. You get a good amount for the money and it smells amazing. Its easy to lather up and get lots of soap suds etc to apply to the face bristle. But here is goes a bit off. The suds do not last long at all. By the time I had shaved the left side of my face the suds were almost gone from the right and chin. It is not all bad news though. Left behind is a slick film so it ends up being a lot like using a shaving oil. With suitable use of water, I was able to get a perfectly good shave. Just don't expect it to be like using a gillette shave foam. Would I buy it again - probably not. There are other soaps on the market which work better for the money. But none are going to smell as good as this!

    Disappointed

    Bought as a gift for a difficult-to-buy-for make, I was so disappointed to receive this purchase as the pictured shaving brush was not included. The company were very quick to reply to my complaint, and were caring in their words.
    All is sorted now, after I found a brush locally.
