Now that our new website is live and the refreshed range has been unveiled, we wanted to take a moment to share a little more about the thinking behind the new Highland Soap Co. identity.
This change has been in the works for over a year. Our aim was simple: to create a look that reflects where our products come from and the landscapes that inspire them.

At the heart of the new identity is a line drawing of Ben Nevis, the mountain that overlooks our workshop in Fort William.
The design is intentionally simple and grounded - a quiet reference to the landscape that surrounds us every day. It reflects the sense of place that has always shaped our products, ingredients and way of working.

Our updated logo uses a stonecutter-inspired typeface, chosen for its sense of permanence, craft, and simplicity - qualities that reflect how we’ve always approached our work.

Across the range, we’ve introduced a new colour palette and illustrated brushstrokes inspired by the natural environment of the Highlands.
Each range now carries colours and artwork that reflect the ingredients within - from heather-covered hills and wild herbs to coastal seaweed and bright botanicals.
Clean white labels keep the presentation fresh and clear, while copper details bring a sense of warmth and craftsmanship.
The aim was not to overcomplicate the design, but to create packaging that feels calm, recognisable and connected to the landscapes around us.

As the new packaging rolls out, you’ll also begin to see the new identity reflected in our shops, which are gradually being redecorated to match the updated look.
The goal is to create the same sense of place across everything we do - from our products and website to the spaces where customers discover Highland Soap Co. in person.
This new identity brings together everything that has always been at the heart of our work: natural ingredients, Highland landscapes, and products made with care - The Highlands. In Essence.
