Palm oil contributes to the economic development of the producing countries and is an important food source for millions of people around the world. Sustainable palm is seen as a way forward to continue to supply the world with this much-needed vegetable oil without harming the planet and its people. Palm oil is entirely GM-free and has the highest yield per hectare of any oilseed crop.
